Use Scanbot with Todoist

Scanbot is a scanner app for iOS and Android. 

With this integration, you can add any file or image you’ve scanned with Scanbot to Todoist. 

Warning

A Scanbot subscription is required in order to use this integration.

Setting up the integration

  1. Make sure both apps are installed on your device.
  2. In Scanbot, open Settings.
  3. Select Cloud Services.
  4. Tap Add service.
  5. Select Todoist.
  6. Log in with your Todoist account.
  7. Tap Agree.

Using the integration

  1. In Scanbot, go to the scanned document you want to add to Todoist.
  2. At the bottom left, tap Send to.
  3. Tap on the project you want to add the document to.
  4. (Optional) Change the task name, add a reminder (paid subscription), or write a comment.
  5. Tap Upload to “project”.

Quick tip

Automatically upload all your scans to Todoist. Here's how:

  1. In Scanbot, open Settings.
  2. Select Cloud Services.
  3. Toggle on Automatic Upload.
  4. Tap Cloud Services.
  5. Select Todoist.

FAQ

If you no longer want to use Todoist with Scanbot, here's how to remove the integration:

  1. In Scanbot, open Settings.
  2. Select Cloud Services.
  3. Next to Todoist, tap the trash can icon.
  4. To confirm, tap Log out.
